CONTEST OVER! CONGRATS TO christopher h, COMMENT #11!!

Get finacially naked

Money problems, ugh! Hate to think about them, and have to deal with them. Me and my hubby need guidance, big time. I was recently sent a book called "Get Financially Naked: How to Talk Money with Your Honey" to review, and it could not have come at a better time in our lives.

This book is perfect for me and my husband. It is funny, witty and informative. It is a step by step guide to help couples achieve some sort of financial success. Now, I am sure all of us could use that, right?

This step-by-step guide shows how to:

*  Own your finances, own your life: To achieve satisfaction with your honey, you first need to know how to achieve it on your own.

*Uncover your current financial beliefs: Your attitude is the key to your success.

*Do it with your partner: Eliminate the last taboo.

*Talk money with your honey: A little financial foreplay.

Discover your financial compatibility: Are you dating a deadbeat?

*Take the five steps to financial success: The hard questions you must ask.

*Plan for a family: Your little bundle costs a bundle.

*Save wisely for your financial goals: Saving now means spending in the future.

*Make your hard-earned money work hard for you: Keep it simple.

*Sustain your financial plan: The right way to live happily ever after

I read this book and loved all the information it has in it. It made me realize that we can take hold of our financial situation, it does not have to make us prisioners, which sometimes me and my husband feel we are at times. It also made me realize that money NEEDS to be talked about, not just swept under the carpet, but really talked about in order to keep it stress free and in order. If my husband takes out $20 out of the ATM or vice versa, than we need to talk to eachother to ensure a bill does not bounce because of it. Communication is key. The book is great and me and my husband hope to stay on track with its many tips and advice.

I want the book so I can figure out where all our money goes! We make what I think is a lot, but we can't seem to go on that trip to Ireland! What's up with that?

Now see, I bounced, but that is pure cruelty. First of all, I had to do it on a rocking chair. Not easy. Add to that, it was butt exercise day, so I'm already hurting from that! lol
