I recently had the opportunity to participate in the Ultimate Party Meatballs blog tour through Mom Central. I actually made my meatballs for Thanksgiving for appetizers, and boy were they a HIT! They are so delicious. I made them in my crockpot, which made them all the more tastier, and I used ground beef and put cut up onions in them, as opposed to using the frozen meatballs like the recipe suggested.
I cooked them on high for about 4 hours. My whole home smelled so delicious! With all the wonderful aromas of turkey and these meatballs! YUM! All it is, is a jar of Heinz Chili sauce,and a can of Ocean Spray Jellied Cranberry sauce poured over meatballs! Who would have thought that that combination would be so good?! It is a new favorite of ours, and we will be doing this agian for New Years Eve!

I remember making this last Christmas. I remember buying the ingredience in the store, and I guess I brought them to my mothers, but I don't remember much else about them, so I'm thinking that they weren't that memorable because they were'nt that good. I did use the frozen meatballs and I probably plunked them in a sauce pan. I will try it your way, by making them from scratch and using the slow cooker. Thanks!
