CONTEST OVER! CONGRATS TO SHEILA B, COMMENT # 18 AND JAIMEE, COMMENT #193!!!

Hallmark

I love new and exciting was to reach out to family and friends. Hallmark always has new ways to do this! But, just recently they came out with some even more neat and wonderful ways to connect with your loved ones this holiday season (and anytime!).

Hallmark DVD

I was sent some really great cards to review and I love them! I received the DVD Greeting Card and the Holiday recordable cards. The DVD greeting card is so cool! You can use the DVD Greetings to create a meaningful gift for friends or family. You just drag and drop your pictures and stories to create a short, customized movie set to music, that plays on any computer or DVD player! Neat, huh?! To see how it works, you can go here.

The Holiday Recordable cards aren't too shabby either! You can record a short message to be included in these absolutely adorable and festive cards, for you friends and family, and can be played over and over again! What a great way to reach out to people you don't get to see very often! This allows you to truly personalize your message. Have the whole family get together and record a message! Include the dog! LOL! Have fun with it! If you don't like the message, heck, try it again! Easy and so neat! You can find a demo of this here! After your heartfelt message is played to the recipient, it is then followed by a beautiful Christmas tune (Santa Claus is Coming to Town, We Wish You A Merry Christmas and Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let is Snow)! How unique and wonderful is that? I love mine :)

My thoughts?

I think these cards are unique and very fun to make up! Me and my little kids had fun recording our voices in these cards! We also enjoyed putting our pictures on the dvd for my parents to enjoy this holiday season! They are definitely unique and super fun. Do I recommend them? Yep!

BUY THEM!

You can buy any of these wonderful Hallmark holiday cards, by going to their website here and locating a store nearest you!

recordable storybooks

Now, the two cards I mentioned above it not all they have! They also have new Ditgital Scrapbooks, that fill more than 50 digital slides with your favorite photos, music and words! And they have recordable storybooks! It is your voice on every page!! So neat and would make perfect gifts for any Grandparent, friend or family member!!! See how it works, HERE!

a tradition for our family at my moms home is the dirty santa game-we have so much fun stealing gifts and working together with our husbands to get what we think is the best gift of the bunch...oh it is so much fun and I am so excited that Christmas is almost here

Our tradition started when I was a little girl. We were allowed to open just one gift on Christmas Eve. That gift was always some new PJs to wear that night and for Christmas morning. I carried that tradition on to my children. My adult daughter has now carried it on to my granddaughters. And my young daughters always look forward to it too. 3 generations later we carry on the cuddly/cozy tradition.

Saw these cards at the Gold Crown Store today - thought they were wonderful! My favorite tradition - putting all the ornaments on the tree - Christmas music playing, mulled cider on the stove and lots of memories while unwrapping each one and finding the perfect spot on the tree.

My favorite tradition is cutting down our Christmas tree. We get bundled up and head out to a local farm. We always underestimate the size of the tree and when we get home, it looks huge in our living room. It's great.

My favorite memory is taking my 5 yr old son to the mall to see Santa just before Christmas the yr he was in kindergarden. He was not sure he still believed in Santa but Santa already knew everything he had asked for for Christmas, his dogs name, his bday, where he went to school etc. Santa knew allllllllll about him and didnt matter what he asked Santa could answer correctly. You see Santa was really his Uncle Jay who had a part time job at the mall as Santa. He was such a believer after that visit! Its also my favorite Christmas pic of him and his uncle as Santa.

We enjoy decorating the tree. My son supervises ornament placement. Christmas light shows are popular around here. We go to several every year to get in the spirit and help our community. I also enjoy sending Christmas cards.
