KOR ONE Hydration Vessel Review and Giveaway!
THANKS TO ALL WHO ENTERED! CONGRATS TO FIONEN, COMMENT #133!!!
Kor ONE Hydration Vessel is such a neat thing! Not only are they helping the environment by building innovative products that reduce environmental impact, but they also donate 1% of all sales to a select group of non-profits that focus on water-related issues.
So what is Kor ONE Hydration Vessel? It is a water container! Yep, a water container that comes in 4 beautiful colors. How is Kor ONE different from other water bottles? Well, it is made from health-safe materials and designed with intuitive, surprising features...

Kor ONE features a hinged cap and handle that allows for a quick, easy access to drinking, with one hand! And, that cap won't hit you in the face (when I first saw the cap I thought, ouch, that will hit me in the nose, but it does not!). You will never have to look for that water bottle top again! Also, Kor ONE's huge opening provides a wonderful drinking experience. No annoying threads on the spout. I really liked this feature because it felt alot nicer on my lips then the regular threaded spouts. And, the opening is big enough to get some ice cubes into it! Most water bottles don't allow for this little "pleasure" :) Kor ONE is BPA-Free and made from Eastman Tritan. So, why not drink from a reusable container?

Something that I found really neat about this "vessel" was that it comes with "Kor Stones". Designed into the cap is a place for your KOR Stone (a disc shaped token with a message that provides a bit of inspiration each time you take a drink!). Four "Stones" come packaged with the KOR ONE, so you get to choose what you want in your lid! Very cool!
What does my stone say? Take a peek!

A bit about KOR (taken off their site):
Our Mission is Water Advocacy
We're advocates for water, the key to all life. KOR believes passionately in the importance of clean water to human health and to the health of our planet, and in the power of design to inspire and motivate. We celebrate and treasure water through design-driven, sustainable hydration solutions and seek to engage consumers on critical water-related issues of container recycling, ocean and watershed protection, and the global water crisis.
We S.E.T. Our Values
At KOR we hold ourselves to what we call our "S.E.T." standards. That is, we strive to be sustainable, ethical and transparent throughout all our business practices. We're certainly not perfect, but we like to say that "we're on the path" by setting high standards in these areas and measuring ourselves against them.
1.Sustainable - We seek to employ sustainable business practices, such as reducing the energy needed to produce and transport our products, reducing and recycling our waste, and offering products that help reduce the environmental footprint of our customers.
2.Ethical - We strive to deal with each of our stakeholders, including customers, employees, partners and investors in a fair and ethical manner. For example, we try to ensure that our employees - and those of our vendors - are given fair and competitive wages, safe and non-threatening work environments, and are treated with respect. We also strive to support our community and direct some of our resources to improving the lives of our stakeholders.
3.Transparent - We strive to openly communicate on matters of interest to all stakeholders. For example, what materials are used in the creation of our products? Who are the subcontractors involved and what are their scorecards with regard to sustainable, ethical and transparent practices? When we make mistakes do we proactively admit to them and strive to do better?
We pledge to live by our SET standards and work hard to continually improve our performance against these principles.
My overall reaction?
I think this KOR ONE is amazing. I love what it stands for and I love that I have a very cool looking container to carry around and drink my water in. I love that I can add ice to it and not have to cram it into a small hole and I love that it has a carry handle on it. I also love that it is dishwasher safe (on the top rack).
Dislikes?
It is quite big, but I think I can get use to that.
BUY IT!
You can buy any of these great KOR ONE Vessels, by going to their website HERE! And for each color you buy, they each have their own cause the 1% sales goes to! Like if you buy the blue one, then 1% of the sales goes to Ocean Protection, if you buy green it goes to Watershed Protection and so on! How neat is that?!

I love the fact that because the cap doesn’t screw on, there are no annoying threads on your mouth. The spout is perfect!
Thanks

I love that you can choose which color and which organization you want to support with your purchase. A nice idea to get people involved in different causes! I would have a hard time choosing a color - torn between pink & orange - probably go with pink in the end!

My favorite feature is the flip top lid. It won't get lost and it's very easy to open. I'd choose the sunrise orange.

I like the fact that the Kor One is BPA free, that they donate money to environmental causes, and that the cap is attached. Sometimes the caps on my water bottles get misplaced. Also, I really like a large water bottle. I drink a lot of water at work and I'm always having to refill my water bottle.
